The days that follow Birchboxes landing on doorsteps nationwide are filled with great feedback from YOU – our amazing community – and we really love reading your comments, tweets, blog posts and seeing your pictures. Here are just a few highlights so far from February:
The first product to catch Sophia from Tattooed Tea Lady‘s eye was the Leighton Denny nail polish, “this is definitely the next shade going on my nails… it’s going to be perfect for spring and summer, catching the light beautifully.” She also mentioned Eyeko’s Skinny Liquid Eyeliner as “one of the most intense black liners I’ve come across, effortlessly creating perfectly precise lines and flicks, with a precision pen-tip applicator. After just one use of this beauty, I’m smitten. You need this liner in your life!”
Blogger Sailor Jennie was a fan of February’s ‘Love Style’ theme, “It’s the time of year for London Fashion Week but I like that they’re not focusing solely on the latest designer looks. I’m not particularly fashion focused and I like to try things that will fit into my everyday routine.” Her standout products were Beauty Protector’s Protect & Oil, “first impressions are really good and I love the sweet scent too!” and the Urbanveda Exfoliating Facial Polish, “natural products from companies who don’t test on animals are always ones I love to try… This smells so wonderful and it definitely feels like it will be a gentle exfoliator, but not be so gentle that it won’t do anything.”
Blogger Lily Pebbles Instagramed “love these style postcards from @birchboxuk”.
Georgina from Live Laugh Lipstick said that the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner “is my new favourite liquid liner… It’s great for winged liner and creates perfect flicks every time!” she also mentioned that the ‘How To: Master Liquid Liner’ in-box card will come in handy for application tips!
Sabrina from A Little Obsessed was a fan of the “cute little cards with great quotes, beauty tips and a sneaky hint about next month’s collaboration, which is super exciting!” referring to our March partnership with Lulu Guinness. On opening, she “naturally gravitated to the Leighton Denny nail polish as it is a full size, reasonably expensive brand and a great colour which I am sure I will wear lots.”
Blogger Nelly & Noopy said the “Gilchrist & Soames shower gel smells amazing, and I love the packaging. The simplistic branding gives it that expensive look, and I do love a bit of luxury!” plus, the Green & Black’s chocolate was “a nice little extra!”
