A FURRY FILM

For us, November’s arrival means it’s time to get cosy – and what better way to get those real life warm-and-fuzzies than with the arrival of A Street Cat Named Bob at cinemas this month?! In case you haven’t already heard this real-life story, the film follows a stray cat named Bob (played in the film by the famous feline, himself!) who befriends busker man, James Bowen. Hard-hitting at it’s core – James is battling drugs, periods of homelessness, and a bleak perspective on life – the film follows the duo’s friendship as James begins to turn his life around. We’re expecting laughter, tears, and all the feels – a must-watch this November.

I’M A FIRESTARTER

Before the countdown to Christmas can officially get underway there’s one final celebration to be had, here in the UK – Bonfire Night, of course! If there’s one night that embodies a true autumn evening it has to be November 5th! Whether you’re heading to one of the professional firework displays, taking place up and down the country, or you’re more of a sparklers in the garden followed by a jacket potato kinda girl – pull on your cosiest clothes, your snuggest layers, and enjoy!

THE GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN

Yes, that’s right, Gilmore Girls is back! Everyone’s favourite mum-and-daughter duo, Rory and Lorelai, are back with Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life – a four-part series of 90-minute episodes that are set over the course of one year. Landing on Netflix on November 25th, this is guaranteed to be comfort TV at it’s finest. Coffee cups at the ready! (Disclaimer: if, like me, you had never watched an episode of Gilmore Girls then you can catch up on the previous 7 seasons on Netflix right now! Super important if you don’t want to be left out of the hysteria levels of excitement coming from your friends/colleagues/everyone ever.)

YOUR WINTER BODY, SORTED

If you’re anything like us, November’s arrival means it’s time to get our winter bodies in shape – and that means hot chocolates, cheese toasties, and brownies aplenty! To get us started, and to fill that GBBO-shaped hole in our life, we’ll be attempting these Dark Chocolate Guinness Brownies from Joy The Baker. They sound a bit more sophisticated than our supermarket favourites but, we’ll be honest, you can add in whatever you like to these things – white chocolate chips, hazelnuts, whatever you fancy! You can thank us later.

SHAKE YOUR TAIL FEATHER!

Lastly, this month we’ve teamed up with Tatler magazine for an incredible collaboration! Your November Birchbox not only looks b-e-a-utiful but, inside, you’ll find a specially curated edit of products selected by us and Tatler’s Beauty Editor to help get you party-ready! (After all, November is officially celebration season!) If you haven’t already signed up to get your box then you can do so now, right here, or check out the 3 reasons you won’t want to miss the box if you’re after the insider scoop…
