Over the past week, we’ve invited some London-based subscribers and bloggers to the fab Lulu Guinness store in Sloane Square for an evening of handbag perusing, candy chomping, brow sculpting fun to celebrate our partnership. Every nook and cranny of Lulu Guinness’ fun and fabulous store was filled with eye-catching designs – from iconic bags to colourful clutches and lip-printed cases.

Lulu’s Love Of Make-Up
Boy does Lulu know how to rock a red lip – or three, in this case! Lulu told us how her signature red lip has inspired her designs over the years, but she also shared her larger admiration towards the power of make-up. She explained how putting on her ‘face’ in the morning is so crucial to making her feel empowered and ready to take on the day.

We All Went Candy Crazy
There were tubs full of colourful candy rock and chocolate milk on offer, which went down a treat – the candy represented the traditional sweet shops that were one of Lulu’s inspirations behind her Spring/Summer ’14 collection.

Lulu’s Girls Are Birchbox Converts!
Lulu told us that when we were in early discussions about the potential partnership, she gave her two teenage girls one of our Birchboxes to see what they thought. Lulu said they loved their “really cute” samples and not only did they tell their Mum she “HAD to do it”, they both signed up!

Benefit Beautifies
One of our brand partners this month, Benefit Cosmetics, were on hand to help out with make-up looks, trying out coveted products and provide touchups. The most popular requests included brow-shaping demos and blush powder testing.
We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came, the brilliant Benefit girls, and of course the Lulu Guinness gang for hosting such a great event!
