The days that follow Birchboxes landing on doorsteps nationwide are filled with great feedback from YOU – our amazing community – and we really love reading your comments, tweets, blog posts and seeing your pictures. Here are just a few highlights so far from November:
Blogger Lily Doughball’s favourite discoveries were Chella’s highlighter pencil, “which glides on and blends so effortlessly, and the Laura Mercier mascara. I’ve been using the pencil under my brows, but because of the pale peachy colour of it, it could be used for all sorts – concealing, brightening dark circles, or on the inside of your eye as a highlighter – it really is a versatile product. The mascara is exactly what I have been looking for; because of the fine textured bristle brush it coats every lash and gives a really natural look.”
Talisa Talks Beauty’s favourite product was the Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Body Butter “How lucky are we to get another Laura Mercier product! The products smells strongly of, as the name suggests, fresh fig… it sank in almost immediately leaving my skin soft and silky smooth.” She was also smitten with the scent of Weleda’s Replenishing Oat Shampoo, “Oh, the scent. This product holds the ‘typical’ Weleda smell. Fresh and uplifting.”
Jess from Coffee and Cosmetics said “There is also a great mix as well as I received make up, hair care, skincare, a beauty tool, perfume and 3 different types of tea to try by Pukka! I never normally like perfume samples, but this one smells absolutely lush.”
Petit Moi was pleased with her November box and thought the in-box cards were “A definite win, for me, much easier to have a quick look through them and see the things which interest you; plus they’re quirky and full of interesting bits and bobs.”
Blogger Life Made Beautiful’s two star products were, “The Chella Highlighter Pencil… a fresh and pretty shade for fair skins, which can help lift your complexion when lightly applied just under the brow bone, the inner corner of the eyes, to cover those dark circles, conceal any blemishes or red spots, and along the lip line to prevent lipstick bleed and enhance your pout! Super simple and so many uses in just one pencil!” and the “English Laundry Signature For Her EDP… a beautifully fresh fragrance is reminiscent of a summer garden and leaves a soft, delicate scent on the skin.”
